Efficiency in Affiliate Marketing
As an affiliate marketer, efficiency is key. We’re constantly tracking stats, managing networks, social media, and email—never wanting to miss out on new opportunities or promotions. Therefore, we need all the tools and shortcuts we can get to stay efficient.
My current favorite Chrome extension is PartnerMe. It saves me a significant amount of time every week, especially for my cashback site where members frequently ask me to add new merchants!
Finding Merchant Affiliate Programs
Previously, when someone asked how to determine if a merchant had an affiliate program, I advised them to:
- Check the footer of the merchant’s website for links or information.
- Search other sites for the merchant name to see if they list their affiliate programs there.
- Hover over links to identify the network and trace the link’s route if needed.
All that is now much simpler with PartnerMe.
- Simply go to a merchant site.
- Click on the PartnerMe icon in your toolbar.
- The extension immediately reveals if the merchant is listed on Impact, AWin, Partnerize, Ascend by Pepperjam, Commission Junction, or ShareASale, and provides a link to the publisher signup page.
PartnerMe developers are working on adding more networks; as its popularity grows, they’ll likely be motivated to include them.
